The price was inexpensive, which we only needed a place to sleep so this worked out well as we didn't expect the extra expense. The best thing about this property - THE INDIAN GUY!!! He is so delightful, happy, forthcoming, thee best customer service I have ever had anywhere!!!

This is an excellent hotel.
This is an excellent hotel. Old historical building with lots of updates. Very clean and HUGE rooms. They have 2 great restaurants and a bar with very friendly staff also. They are very accomodating. We went to a concert that was literally next door to the hotel. The only thing that I didn't like was that the parking garage was right next to the hotel but you still had to pay $15.00 to park in it. Why not just include that into your room rate? But honestly this hotel is a gem. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.Marcum - 10Scored 10

With out a doubt Baymont in Ellkart is a 5 star. Don’t let the low price fool you. I travel extensively and this has to be in my top 5. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and neat. Then there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us. Nice choice to pick from. Everything look good and it was. The biscuits taste like they just came out of the oven. I liked nothing about this trip! I reserved a room and it was not in their system so I had to buy a room on site. The room was not clean when I checked in. And I was charged twice for it! I'll never stay here again and I'll tell everyone I know not to stay their too!

You can walk everywhere and anywhere. Everyone is so welcoming and nice, you can never go wrong. So many restaurants,thrift stores, stores, shopping outlets and then there's so much things you can do you can't sit still! You got trolleys and scooters, Ubers and such.. I stayed overnight, heading home 600 miles after 2 weeks visiting friends and family. Elkhart does a quilt festival & has a "quilt garden" that I want to specifically visit at some point.

(My favorite is Culver's, however, which is on the other side of the Turnpike but still nearby.) The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and updated. The name, however, should tell you that the rooms are not spacious. Two people with suitcases in a room with a queen bed will feel quite cramped. If you're just stopping here for the night, however, not a bad option.
