It was the cheapest motel available in T or C and was located close to the highway. So it was perfect for a night of sleep before heading into the wilderness. It was also close to a nice Mexican restaurant and Walmart. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

We have stayed here before and were very happy. The property is safe, the owners are just wonderful and the diner is a short walk and the food and people are wonderful. We never had to worry about staff coming into the room when we did not want it and the property was quiet and safe. If the rates continue to be reasonable, we will be back next year.

We are in the process of buying some property in Elephant Butte. Nice small town vibe, quiet, no traffic, and everybody waves to each other. Great fishing and water sports. Close to many historical sites and outdoor activities. Decent food options in T or C, although there are a couple restaurants in town.

They advertised a spa. The spa was closed for renovation.

The only thing that operated was the hotel. I had to go miles out of my way to find food during my stay. It was terrible and an extreme inconvenience. They essentially lied saying that they had the services available. I will never stay here again.

The owner is exceptionally kind, courteous and accomodating. I have now found a nice new place to stay during our frequent visits to Elephant Butte and/or Truth or Consequences.
