The shuttle from the airport was terrible.
The shuttle from the airport was terrible. I was very upset with El Segundo because they advertise a 1am airport shuttle and I was there 5-10 minutes before 1am in the morning, and no airport shuttle from El Segundo showed up, and I have a physical defect in my hip and could not walk the next mile to get a taxi, and actually did not see any taxi's or other shuttle service available for El Segundo Hotel. Getting around El Segundo was extremely difficult!! I will avoid this hotel the next time in LAX. Sincerely Carl

I liked the location of the hotel from the airport which made it easier to get back to the airport. I did not like that the only restaurant was only open for breakfast and I felt there should had been more of a selection for breakfast. Don't book this hotel on Booking.com. I did, had it confirmed only to turn up at the hotel to be told the room wasn't available. Happens all the time with Booking.com said the Receptionist. Travellers beware !

Very close to the main street of El Segundo and restaurants.
Very close to the main street of El Segundo and restaurants. Also Free Airport bus stop on Main Street (near the Police Station) that left El Segundo direct to LAX bus terminus, with free transfer to International Terminal. The reason I took the bus is that the taxi I ordered never showed and I was desperate by that time. Voila I found the free airport bus. I ate at a vegetarian Restaurant on Main Street which was delicious and filling and cost $12 USD.GrantNew Zealand - 4.0Scored 4.0

Unfortunately we would not stay at this hotel again. Room was a bit noisy. Although the bed was clean and comfortable ( a big plus) the sidewalks were dirty, there was a terrible overpowering cigarette smell saturating our entire “non smoking “ room. Parking was included in the amenities online when I booked the room, however, we were charged for parking. The free airport shuttle was also very convenient and easy to organise. Was a quick 10 min ride. In n Out, Chipotle, Maccas and many other places to eat are nearby. Caught the local bus nearby for $1 to Manhattan beach! I’ve seen some reviews complaining about road noise but I’m a very light sleeper and had no issues at all.

We fly in from the East Coast so we always arrive much earlier than check-in time, but this particular time, we were able to check-in quite early because a room was available - the staff was very accomodating.

I like this hotel and I recommend it if you want to stay near the airport. Beaches are not reachable by walking unless you want to walk for more than 30min.
