Beautiful, large property! Perfect place for the kids to run,play, and be safe. Amazing nature sounds (the frogs are loud, but awesome) lots of geckos roaming around. The house is incredibly spacious- large kitchen, lots of laundry facilities and living space. Perfect place for a large family gathering

We enjoyed walking the short trail behind the Lodge as well as the longer trails in the nearby Park. Kilauea Lodge is a warm, welcoming facility.

The only nice thing about this place was the beds were comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this place. It's not warm and fuzzy. It's a boarding house with little assistance from the proprietor.
