In the middle of rainforest country, the perfect place to detach, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of tourist towns. Super convenient if visiting the volcanoes national park, only a 35 min drive up the road. I also loved how the facilities were super basic and powered off a generator as it added to the feel of being in the middle of nowhere. Additionally you’ll have 100’s of coqui frogs singing songs in 360 surround for half the night while light rainforest rain falls…

Amazing little boutique hotel in the rain forest. It was quaint but well cared for. Great option to allow you to spend a full day exploring Volcanoes National Park and then have an early start on the drive to Kona (so you can stop for lots of adventures along the way). We loved our stay.

The location is very convenient for visiting the Volcano National park. It is minutes away by driving. Joan had every detail written in notes so we had no problem with anything. Cleanliness was good. Did not spot any bug in the room.
