The bed was comfortable and towels were thick and bright white. The host is garrulous. The host provided an extensive list of restuarants, and we found a good dinner nearby as well as breakfast about 9 miles down the road in the direction we were traveling.

The room was clean, very clean, and when arriving was carefully explained the parking situation, the desk hours, and how to contact the desk if necessary. In some other reviews, I see criticism of the management and attitude issues. After my stay, i pretty much feel those cases were probably self induced. The location is downtown, small town America, and does not have the major chain features that perhaps some folks desire, perhaps then they should just use the major chain of their choice.
It was clean, warm and comfortable. exceptionally clean considering the price point. Coffee is offered. At the rate, breakfast was not expected.

I did not check in. I tested positive for Covid a few days before my trip, so I called and cancelled my reservation. I was somewhat rudely informed by someone from the hotel staff that a refund was not possible unless I cancelled five days before. I was not informed of this when I booked the room, nor could I cancel five days before because of when I tested positive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.DavidUnited States - 10Scored 10

Tubing the Wisconsin river was so relaxing, exactly what our group needed. Thank you Hawks Nest Outfitters. Kartway was so much fun with the miniature golf, go carts and bumper boats , it took me back to my childhood. The shopping was great Cre8 tshirt shop was friendly and Courteous. The dinning was amazing, we highly recommend The Kickback Grill great staff with lunch with an awesome view. Great location. So much to do. Horseback riding fishing swimming shopping tennis and great restaurant just to name a few things. I have been lcoming to Eagle River for vacations for many years. Always enjoyable and r lazing.
