Unfortunately we were late to breakfast. We didn't have many options. To be fair, that was our own fault. The options looked and sounded delish if we had been on time.

Lots of variety in eateries by the city hall campus.
Lots of variety in eateries by the city hall campus. Lovely park like grounds. One problem is the very active commercial train. It can hold you up for a while… like more than 15 minutes waiting time behind the tracks.

We were only a overnight stay half way on our trip home.
We were only a overnight stay half way on our trip home. We almost slept in our car the conditions of the room were so bad. It was the worst. Not just old but dirty and smelly and the bathroom door was falling off. We wouldn't sit in the chairs because the dirt and stains were so bad. If we hadn't been desperate from driving 11 hrs we would have left.

I couldn't be more pleased with the condition of the property or the responsiveness of the staff. I inadvertently left some clothing in a drawer in the room and the hotel went out of their way to get it back to me in just 4 days. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is one of the cleanest I have stayed in. Thank You....

This place is absolutely filthy and should be condemned.
This place is absolutely filthy and should be condemned. Bugs in the bathroom, ceiling falling down, marijuana smell, never cleaned hallways, towels filthy even though "fresh", breakfast had VERY little items, pool had several tiles that fell off, just plain disgusting.

Hotel is close to the Tennessee River, some rooms have views. There was a park close by. There were lots of boating activities in the lake that looked fun and relaxing. Some restaurants that we might have explored were closed on Sunday.

Refrigerator in room had a yellow liquid spilled all over bottom of fridge. Towel rack fell off wall. Toilet paper on counter. Bath tub was very slippery. Nothing in tub to.prevent from slipping during use.
This has to be the worse hotel in the state. Literally had drug baggies, clothes, shoes, garbage, and some construction stuff plus the garbage from it all thru the parking lot. The jetted tub was so old, cracked, and needed replaced in room 124. Appeared like black mold but realized it was some kind of glue where they had attempted to glue the cracks, SMH! Also, saw a roach crawling up the wall. Thought about leaving before the night was up.
The guy at the desk was great and got me a ground floor room even though I didn't know to ask for one when booking. I was very bummed out because I had forgotten my pillow and fan but the rooms pillows were AMAZING, not that stiff foam you usually find. The fan on the ac unit was also on point, none of that rattling and pinging you usually get in hotels. Might be the first time in my life I had a decent night sleep in a hotel.
Great location. Everything we needed was at the hotel. Loved the idea of an indoor pool this time of year. There was a Logan's restaurant in walking distance from the hotel and a few stores. The staff was awesome and our room had a balcony. It was very quiet and clean, comfy beds, inviting lobby, hot hot shower and plenty of towels! Definitely A WIN!
The hotel staff was just amazimg, super nice and welcoming.for anything i needed they did their best asap.in my opinion location is great, close to restaurants, mall, convenient store and so...
