I want to express my gratitude to Ms. Mumbi Muhu and Ms. Betty Rios of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Corona, CA. On the morning of Thursday, March 21, I had the pleasure of speaking to both after a horrendous night at a competitor’s hotel (my room reserved since Dec. ’23 had been given to someone else, despite my arrival before 10pm). I had slept poorly at a dingy hotel 15 miles away (far from the Basketball tournament event venues). I was scrambling to find anything (spring break and another massive soccer tournament had booked nearly every hotel room). When I was able to find this room at the Corona Holiday Inn Express on Google and book it, I quickly called to validate they indeed could see my reservation and I asked how soon I could check in (fearing I might lose the room again—I needed it through the weekend for the tournament). Mumbi was very understanding and gracious, despite my anxiety. She even called me when they changed my room number, just to make sure it didn’t panic me when I arrived. I needed a room with 2 queen beds, as I had my family of 4 with me. When I arrived, it was a breath of fresh air, compared to the experience I’d had with ESA staff the night before and that morning. They upgraded me to a suite without my asking and this gesture has made me a champion for Holiday Inn going forward! Mumbi and Betty are to be congratulated for running a top-notch hotel in the area. I plan to return to this particular hotel when in the area BECAUSE of these two wonderful people (and its ideal location and beautiful facility)! Kudos to them both!

upgraded rooms are really nice and clean, it’s like a little studio
The staff was friendly. The inn is on a main road right next to a CVS, which I found helpful. There was also fast food restaurants relatively close. The refrigerator is a good size and came in handy. The charging outlets right next to the bed were convenient. The bed was comfortable.
The light above the vanity sink in room 201 did not work. It was outside of the bathroom and where I brushed my teeth, put on jewelry, etc. When I reported it to the front desk thinking that perhaps the bulb was out, the attendant told me that there was something actually wrong with the wiring/circuit/something (I can't remember) and that it was not just my room. I guess I could have asked to switch rooms, but it was only a mild inconvenience so I stayed put.
This property was a good value for the money.

I was told the pet fee was $75 a one time charge.
I was told the pet fee was $75 a one time charge. My son was told there would not be another chg for the dog when he decided to stay one more night. I was charged $150 for the dog. I was told when I questioned the charge that it was only good for 3 nights and then another $75 for the 4th night. Most hotels chg. $10 to $15 a night. I think $150 for 4 nights was outrageous. I would not recommend this to anyone for that reason.

A Low budget family operated motel that focuses on weekly rentals in my opinion. Our room smelled sour which gave us the impression it was not clean. The location in general did not feel safe to walk around as every business including the motel had large chain link fences around them. They did provide numerous cable tv channels, internet, microwave and fridge if that’s what you value. Bring you can of air freshener.

Honestly, no reason to be here if you are not here for work.
Honestly, no reason to be here if you are not here for work. Small city that's a little bit too far from major areas. The distance isn't too bad, but with the traffic it can take a long time to get to places such as San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County. Since it's out in the desert, the weather gets very hot in the summers.

Corona is a very lively town.
Corona is a very lively town. The streets can be confusing, and the freeways terrifying, but otherwise very easy to get around. Lots of hispanic restaurants, likely authentic. Very different from the hispanic food I'm used to, but very good. There are also a lot of other small and scenic towns nearby. Great places to shop.

The room was clean.
The room was clean. However, after making a reservation with the incorrect dates and immediately canceling and rescheduling my stay for the very next day, this property refused to waive the cancellation fee even though the corporate office emailed them immediately requesting them to do so. I paid over two hundred dollars even though I only stayed one night in a $99 dollar room. Definitely won’t be staying here again.
10/20/23: This hotel was the best place we stayed at for our entire vacation. The staff is awesome, helpful, and friendly. We plan on going back to California sometime next year, and I will be booking this hotel for my entire stay in this area. Breakfast was great, a real breakfast, not a continental one. I recommend this place to everyone.
Not much of anything the room were not sanitary! I had to ask 4 times to get new towels and bedding! Homeless was everywhere! Bathroom toilet was leaking and they did nothing about it! Worst hotel/motel I have ever booked on here and that says alot
Very clean, homey and comfortable. Our second stay in 5 years and the hotel is still just as clean and well maintained as our first stay! We will definitely be coming back in the future!
As soon as I was walked into the hotel, the property was clean. The room was room I stayed in was well put together and clean. During breakfast, the area was kept clean throughout.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The size of the room was bigger than expected, it was clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was included but I left before it started.
It was a lovely, clean hotel for a quick stop over! Staff were friendly and the facilities were nice & clean. Didn’t use the pool but had a look and it looked nice and clean.
Central location for activities in and around Corona. We had a large room and bathroom with plenty of space. The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful.
