Have been there many times since we have family there, but there is a lot to do and see. The shopping is great, both at the Fox River Mall area and the small shops downtown. There are lots of options for eating, all types of food and all price ranges.

We enjoy shopping and eating in the Appleton area.
We enjoy shopping and eating in the Appleton area. They have a wide variety of shops and restaurants to cater to any taste, depending on what you are looking for. Also, Appleton is starting to be know for it's music scene, with Mile of Music being one of it's largest draws as a live original music festival.

We spent one day in Oshkosh, which was very interesting.
We spent one day in Oshkosh, which was very interesting. The next day we went to Neenah, also very close and interesting. Went to Wrightstown for the water ski show, not too far away and spent the rest of our time in Appleton. It was a perfect location to take in several very interesting museums and activities.

My room was ti include breakfast but I was given a $15 dollar bill for the first breakfast and they never reindurst me for it and they also billed me $150 dollars for the 3 night for a surcharge on room that they said I'd get back but they wouldn't even talk to me at checkout so I never got that back either. This hotel is a ripe off.

Lovely stay!
Lovely stay! Keith & Lori were wonderful hosts, very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Turret Suite on the 3rd floor; a spacious, characteristic room with mini fridge, gas fireplace and a wonderful jetted tub! The bed was quite comfy, the bathroom is small with just a pedestal sink and no counter space but considering this room is the attic of the house, they did a wonderful job of converting it to a cozy bedroom. Breakfast was delicious and their sweet dog, Cody, greeted us every morning at the bottom of the stairs. If you're looking for a unique experience that makes you feel right at home while staying in Appleton, this place is it!

Nice boutque hotel that delivers what it needs to.
Nice boutque hotel that delivers what it needs to. A few weird things, like not accepting cashless payment, is a bit weird in a hotel of this quality and in a post-COVID world.
Should probably re-open the bar by now and think about having a breakfast option in the hotel or coordinated with a nearby eatery.
Apparently the boatload of reviews on here or other sites stating that the Breakfast was DELICIOUS or GREAT or ONE OF THE BEST THEYVE HAD was serious spamming. I can tell you this. I am not rich by any means I usually try to stay at not the cheapest hotels but themost affordable for me which is usually 60 to 80 a night type you know. So we went with this hotel even though it was 110 because it appeared to be and reading reviews made me book. People stated there was BACON and the food was very good for a continental breakfast. NOT,
Overall, Everything was good or great! In particular... We had a nice spacious room with two big beds. There was a huge TV with lots of channels and an armchair, which gave us a space to chill. There was a big, modern shower. We also liked free coffee in the main entrance area.
We went to Tanner's Grill & Bar for food and drinks (and the gameday bus to Lambeau!) and the Machine Shed for breakfast, both are nearby and would recommend both.
The room was great, very clean and comfortable but it took forever to check in, long line. Not a fan that check in isn't till 4pm. Called for a late check out and was told they were all out of late check outs. Like is there a limit to them? Just seems like big name hotels are trying to give less and less time to be able to enjoy the stay. Wasn't able.to use the pool or hot tub, just didn't have the time.
Amazing experience and it all started with the Front desk gentleman. He was a WOW factor. I highly encourage him to keep up the great work - professionalism, cheerfulness, a Can - do attitude, and great hospitality. I wish EVERY hotels I stay in, he was there to greet. He's AWESOME 😎.
Appleton Wisconsin was hosting the Mile of Music. This is our 3rd year staying at this Hotel. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the festival. The room is perfect for our needs and always have been clean and comfortable. Will definitely be booking again for next year's music festival.
That view alone is worth every penny! The staff was extremely friendly. The patio was fantastic, and the short walk to coffee and beer were perfect. The room was cleaner than most hotels I've stayed at. Seemed like everything in Appleton was only 10 minutes away.
The location was fine. The hotel is very outdated. The breakfast was virtually non-existent, only choice was a wafflemaker, which had not been cleaned. The breakfast room was dirty. It was truly disappointing.
Room was very clean and decorated very stylish. Loved being right downtown allowing us to have fun at different places but knowing that a short walk would bring us right back to the hotel.
The management was awesome. They were friendly and polite. We would definitely stay there again. I wish all hotels were as friendly and nice as they were!
Any hotel with a waffle maker is the kind to stay at. The location was really close to our destination and shopping mall. Pool/Hot tub did have adult hours.
