Loved the very spacious room equipped well for long stays. Very flexible lobby area which accommodated overflow breakfast eaters and evening family game playing. The front desk staff were all wonderful .... when they were there. I was surprised at how often the front desk was not manned. The hotel did not let me know that they clean rooms only after special request. In the third day, filled in the request on paper, dropped of at the reception - no result. Next day asked the receptionist in the morning - no result. Asked the receptionist in the afternoon - got the room cleaned in couple hours. Did not ask for repetitive cleaning and nobody bothered for the rest of the stay.

Amherst is a great place to stay when you are visiting the Western New York area. It is easy to get around Amherst and the surrounding communities. There are many great restaurants in the area. One of our favorites is The Eagle House. They have a wonderful fish fry! We grew up in Amherst and cannot say enough about the area. We enjoy returning to the area to visit family and friends.LeonardUnited States
