Zenj House is simply fantastic. Great location, very calm - we even got served English breakfast with fresh juice. The host / host family is the nicest and most helpful you will ever meet and will go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be (e.g., order great Indian food at night, help find things at the airport’s lost and found). A beautiful old building with lots of nice decorations in the middle of Stone Town. The room was nice with three Zanzibarian beds. There is a nice swimming pool and nice views from the top terrace. The breakfast was included and nice.
