The breakfast was fairly good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was facing the sea, and had a nice balcony. We could also borrow bicycles for free, which was very nice.

I want to say thank you to Robert and Siling for their kindness they showed us at the reception when we checked into the hotel. They gave us some information on getting to Taroko Gorge.
Furthermore, we received an upgrade to a larger room and it was very spacious. I really admire their choice in being an eco-friendly facility, trying to reduce waste and helping the environment. I want to see this in action.

The location is perfect. Three minutes away from the Hualien bus transit center, which is the departure point for most of the bus tours. 7-11 is right on the corner of the street and many other restaurants are just within walking distance. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Room are bigger than I thought, much better deal than the ones in Taipei. Very satisfied with everything. Hope the lovely place recovers from the earthquake quickly.

Our room was full of mould, your feet stuck to the floor, there were stains on the bed and chairs, bathroom stank of a musty damp smell. You could hear people’s conversations in the next room and the wifi didn’t work. The floors in the whole hotel were dirty and hadn’t been hoovered in ages. Whole place was very unkept.
