We splurged a little for our anniversary by booking this place, and I'm so glad we did! Goreme is a very busy tourist town, but Aza is high up above the hustle and bustle, and really lets you relax. It's a little oasis surrounding a fairy chimney. The pool wasn't officially open yet, but was filled with (unheated) water, and on a lovely sunny day I got to partake in a wonderful cold dip. The reception staff were amazing and helped us rebook our balloon flight when it was initially cancelled due to poor weather. (Thanks Doğukan!). Breakfast was by far the best of our trip in Turkey, and we really enjoyed the sushi in the evening. Again, amazing service all around!

A special, peaceful, unforgettable place to stay. In Göreme, there are many cave hotels bunched together. We were pleased to be at Lunar because it was high up, with a stunning view of the balloons over Göreme and a spacious courtyard with areas to relax outside. It has a dedicated car parking area, and cats who will quickly find out whether you're a cat person or not (if you do like cats, prepare to have a friend for the week!) The staff are friendly, helpful, and happy to be there. Ensar is an asset to the hotel, he is friendly, hard working, and he went above and beyond to make our stay great. I am already missing this beautiful hotel & my freshly cooked omelette in the morning! I'm so glad we stayed here & hope to return one day. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Göreme, don't go anywhere else.
