Koh Ngai Resort, hotel in Ko Ngai

Koh Ngai Resort is located within the Trang Archipelago and overlooks the beautiful Andaman Sea. This peaceful tropical getaway presents an outdoor pool and scenic views of the natural landscapes.

Hotel is directly at the drop off point for boats which is convenient for arriving and departing. Peaceful and quiet only a few other guests staying. We were able to use kayaks for free. The hotel is very isolated meaning we spent the whole time at the hotel and ate at the hotel also however for some this may be an issue. Food was good but slightly more expensive. This was expected due to being on an island.

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach, hotel in Ko Ngai

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Ko Ngai.

It was very quiet as it was at the end of the season. We were the only people. The pool is beautiful. There was a path, about 30min walk to the other side of the island. The beach there was beautiful and a wonderful scenery.

Rinna Resort, hotel in Ko Ngai

Situated in Koh Mook and with Hua Laem Prao Beach reachable within less than 1 km, Rinna Resort features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace.

Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view. In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand. The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning. I highly recommend this place!!

This is a very quiet island where you come to relax, walk along the beach, and swim. There are no noisy bars, just long lazy days and relaxed nights under the stars. The south end of the beach is the best sand, but you can walk from one end of the beach to the other in only 30 minutes. The sea is deliciously warm! There is another beach called Paradise Beach, if you are bored of relaxing. It is over the hill and through the jubngle for about 20 minutes - but use lots of mosquito repellant!

Beautiful beach location which was still really quiet post COVID. Not many other options on the island for food/drinks but the hotel food was nice, although a bit limited for those in the party not so in to Thai food. Staff were lovely throughout our stay and the whole place had a great vibe that made for a perfect spot to spend a few quiet days off the beaten track. Beach a little rocky in the shallows and weather was a bit mixed during our visit but when the wind dropped the snorkelling along the drop off 50m from the beach was fantastic!

Amazing shallow beach with clear water.

Amazing shallow beach with clear water. A reef that is right off the island. Great views of nearby islands. Easy to rent a boat and visit other islands in the area. Calm waters make it easy to kayak and swim. There are no roads, just the beach. There are only a few hotels and so it limits the number of people on the island. Makes for a relaxing time.

Beautiful beach, great snorkelling just off beach where shelf drops. Few guests lead to peace but not much atmosphere in the evening. Ferry stops but have to transfer into long tail to reach shore. Definitely a lovely 2/3 night stop

Ko N'gai is small and extremely quiet.

Ko N'gai is small and extremely quiet. Perfect to get away from everything. Jungle and sea is some of the best I have seen after 30 years visiting Thailand. Simply beautiful. Thapwarin is the better of all the resorts, but the restaurant needs to be vastly improved.

Ideal for families and couples wanting a quiet beach holiday. It would not suit youngsters looking for nightlife. Good for snorkeling and diving . There were no roads or clear paths for a walk to explore the island. You could walk along the beach and eat in other resorts. Also, a few bars/restaurants.

The views from the room and the pool area must be the best on the Island. We would stay here again just for that! It is at one end of the main beach, but you can walk to plenty of nice bars and restaurants and the food at the hotel was very good. Some of the best we've had in Thailand! The staff were nice and friendly. The room was big and clean, with a balcony overlooking looking the sea. We spelt very well here. You can get freshly cooked eggs / omelette for breakfast which was nice. The lady serving was very friendly.

Tranquile location at far end of the beach. Fantastic coral reef 100 m outside hotel beach - not damaged or over-exploited. Best snorkelling on island. We stayed 4 nights due to this. Nice restaurant with stunning view, good breakfast. Reading comments on all hotels at Koh Ngai stating ”overpriced hotel” and that is in one way true - the bungalows are simple, a bit worn, and many hotels lack pool. But remember - you pay for the location on this beautiful island, not for a luxury hotel. Personnel nice and helpful.

Es the receptionist is truly an angel. She's very kind and very helpful. I love the space this hotel has. It's the only hotel on this island with huge lawn and trees and huge open public space with plenty of sun lounges and also swimming pool! A few hotels might have more beautiful rooms but they don't have the facilities i just mentioned. I also love the little bar by the beach. Drinks are very reasonable price. I really love it here and i would definitely come back again.

We arrived by boat in high winds and had our first night booked elsewhere. Rachan (sp?) went to our hotel and got help with our bags without knowing that we had booked with his place. Bungalow was clean and in a good location. AC and instant water heater worked well. Sons of one of the proprietors run a bar and restaurant flanking the AC bungalows. The restaurant (Chom View) was fantastic and much better than the main Koh Ngai Seafood one.

Amazing location with a beautiful beach on your doorstep. You can hire snorkels and easily swim out to some coral reefs and see some beautiful fish. We had a sea view family bungalow and it was perfect for our needs. The restaurant was good and the beach front bar done really nice cocktails. Front desk staff very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this resort on a small paradise island without any roads. We will 100% come back.

Amazingly nice staff, always welcoming and helpful with everything. Good food in the restaurant. Good bed, very good A/C. The whole resort is set for you to relax in the simple things, always with birds around, the island is still very raw, which is wonderful. The front beach is very nice (although somewhat polluted with plastic, as all beaches in Thailand), spacious, with nice coral for snorkeling.

We enjoyed our week here. The snorkellimg from the shore was good. The ocean water pool was fun for the kids. The kayaks were fun. And we really enjoyed the social atmosphere at breakfast and dinner in the restaurants. It is the oldest resort on the island, which shows a bit in the facilities, but everything met our needs. We had a great time and would stay there again.

This was our third stay at Koh Ngai Seafood. You just can't beat the serene, peaceful location and the huts' proximity to the beach. They may be basic (cold water, hard bed, limited electricity/wifi), but their charm is what we pay for you and keep returning for. The resort seems to be family-run, with the same people each year. That makes it very special.

lovely family run resort in paradise! Stayed at the resort 4 nights, beautiful location, great massage right in the beach, great food and very reasonable price. Had a chance to see other more luxurious and more expensive places at the island and I wouldn’t change for this nice place. Family running this small resort was extremely nice, than you so much!

This is the loveliest little resort. Perfect for just chilling and you practically live between the sea and the jungle. The food is excellent here - everything that comes out of the kitchen is top quality. Amy, Natalie and Fang at the restaurant are always smiling, joking and willing to help. The best service you can possibly imagine.

Price/benefit absolute fabulous. We paid about 32 € per night. For everything we could need. 50 m to best part of the beach (very few stones in the sea, which made it possible to go to the sea even in low tide). Bathroom was clean, air-con worked in the night. And 20% off in hotel restaurant on food was great bonus.

Well you are right on an amazing beach, no roads on the island, no people haggling for money. Just beach and resort. Perfect to unwind. 3 kids just swam and snorkled all day (watch that sunburn). I'd call it more Glamping than a resort
