The location was excellent right on the beautiful and peaceful beach.
Located along Haad Rin, Rin Bay View Resort offers comfortable rooms with air-conditioning and a private balcony. It is a 5-minute walk from Haad Rin Nok, where the Full Moon Party takes place.

We stayed here for 2 nights for the full moon party. The location is amazing! A short walk from all the action but far enough to not be kept awake by noise. The rooms are basic but adequate. There is also an infinity pool which is small but nice to dip into during the day! It also provided a great opportunity to meet other people.
Staff were really kind and helpful!
The food looked good and drinks were reasonably priced! We also brought a couple of buckets from here before heading out because the alcohol was genuine. (I'm not 18 anymore and willing to risk it all with the cheap homemade buckets being sold as genuine lol)
If travelling from Koh Samui, try and depart from the Haad Rin Queen Ferry Pier because the drop-off pier is right next to this resort and will save you the taxi fare.
Set in Baan Tai, 50 metres from Baan Kai Beach, la plage resort & beach club offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Very friendly & welcoming staff, they helped us carry our luggage to our apartment and were very friendly from the start. Offered transportation to the full moon party and to our next ferry (extra cost but worth it as there were not many options of transportation in the area) Air con worked really well, the apartment was stunning and very clean. Perfect beach location, pool and easy access to the beach. Sunset was amazing at night. Food was incredible, restaurant standard and everything was freshly made, including cocktails and drinks. A hidden gem!

Comfy bed, has a fridge, they give you a free bottle of water every morning and made my check in easier as I checked in late

I always stay on sunrise side of Haad Rin but due to limited availability I stayed here instead and it was just as good. Just as quick (5 minutes) to walk to the party hostels Wet! and Hideout as when I stay on the other side of Haad Rin, only now I had a great sunset. Clean and comfy. LOTS of restaurants nearby so it was good to try some different ones as I usually stay on the other side. 7 Eleven only a few mins' walk away (not the really busy 7 eleven so queue not as long!)
Offering free WiFi access in all areas and free private parking, Hotel Rung Phangan is located in Baan Tai. Each room has air conditioning and towels.

It had a room available. If Rung was on reception then I could communicate with staff. Rung was friendly & eager to be of service. There was instant cofffee & free packets of snacks provided in the room. It’s almost next to Tom’s kitchen which is a very good eatery.
Lots of stairs
Lots of mosquitos
Lots of ants and cockroaches
Beds crawling with insects
The AC hardly worked, one of the worst places I have stayed at, made sure to be in the rooms for minimum time.
Have to pay 400Bath each to and from the island no other transportation options.
Staff tried to be helpful but I was generally left feeling unimpressed.

I enjoyed the nature. The beach is very beautiful.
I enjoyed the nature. The beach is very beautiful. The Bamboo Hut restaurant is amazing! The downside of this place is the cost to get to other places by boat. I think 600 THB (20 USD)/per person for round trip from Haad Yuan is just way too much to be paid for the 10-15 min ride.

There is this selfish part of me that doesn’t want to share Haad Yuan with anyone, but I don’t want to do that to the amazing staff at Barcelona.
If you feel like you might be a little too old for the Full Moon party, but not too old for parties or adventure in general, this is the place for you.
The food is amazing (they have steaks, English food, American food, and pizza in addition to Thai food), the people are wonderful, the beach is pristine, it’s calm and it’s quiet. There’s a small pack of cute domesticated dogs that hang out on the beach and love belly rubs and head scratches. It’s unlike any place I’ve ever been.
Four things to note if you’re looking at coming to Barcelona.
1: There is no AC. It’s fine though because the water keeps things fairly cool.
2: Contrary to what others have said, there IS hot water. The shower’s are plumbed backwards, though, so if you want hot, set to the coldest setting.
3: Make sure you bring enough cash for how many ever days you’ll be here. There are no ATMs or credit card machines anywhere and a boat trip to the ATM will run you at least 600 baht per person. Barcelona let us run a tab, so no need for a bunch of small bills.
4: Make absolutely certain that you are here for a Saturday night. Eden Garden just up the beach throws an amazing trance music dance party every Saturday. If you’re less into pop music and enjoy actual DJs (as opposed to a guy with a MacBook Pro), this is one of the best parties you’ll ever be at.
If you don’t come here, you’re missing out.
The stay was everything I imagined it to be!! If you like tranquillity this is the place to stay with it's own private beach & great food available nearby a stones throw away from the hotel
