The accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way.
As we arrived the owners welcomed us and accompanied us to the entrance and showed us the whole building.
The room and the bath had a tasteful interior design, was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
The price for the accommodation is appropriate absolutely.
The owners were friendly and kind, and we especially liked the Harry Potter magic, a.k.a welcome drinks! :)

It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or...
It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).AndrewUkraine - 10Scored 10

Nová Lesná is beautiful country town, with incredible views to the slovakian mountains - High Tatras. Close to Starý Smokovec which is starting point for the most wonderful mountain trails. Highly highly recommend!

For those who are planning to hike, the location of the chalet brings a lot of opportunities to start your journey and reach the top 😄. Tatra Tram station Nová Lesná is only 15 minutes walking. If you are to bring your own food there is a clean and fully equipped kitchen available. Free coffee and premium organic tea. Convenient check-in. We had a room with the balcony and a view at mountains. That was amazing. Room had all the necessary equipment. The owner is a super friendly man. He gave us some useful informations.
