I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the accommodation, the aesthetics of the room and the overall charm of the place. The food is of very high quality, including the breakfast, which js original, fresh and tasty. It includes a wide selection of delicious spreads, breads, salads, fresh smoothies, juices, fruits, granolas, yoghurt and cakes, and it also comprises egg-based dishes, e.g. eggs Benedict. The hotel is very peaceful and the staff is exceptionally caring and will do everything to meet your needs. They agreed to prepare a full vegetarian dinner for me, developing a bespoke menu for the day. I liked that I could access for free the spa facilities of the nearby aquatic centre. I would come back with pleasure!

The room with a personal sauna is the best choice you can make. The room is nice and comfy. The staff is really nice and the restaurant for the breakfeast is really good. The location is far enought of any trouble and close enought of good restaurants and activities.

VERY friendly staff, spacious room with balcony, good beds and excellent shower. The latter was a godsend in the local heatwave we experienced. The on-site restaurant has a wide range of choices, from strictly vegan to hardcore carnivore, so don’t think the ‘pizzeria’ sign indicates that that is all they do. Loads of local ingredients and dishes, all served in portions large enough to satisfy even the most serious eater. Ample choice at breakfast buffet, with local produce as well. Logistically well equipped, with large private parking and shops, banks, key regional bus stops plus the train station all just a few hundred meters away.

Situated on the outskirts of Triglav National Park and 500 metres Lake Bohinj, the Art Hotel Kristal is a charming family-run hotel, surrounded by impressive mountains and lush alpine forests.

Very cozy mountain hotel in Alpine style with very comfortable rooms and amenities. The highlight was the staff who was very accommodating to our late arrival and very early departure. Very recommended!
