A clean town with easy access to surrounding areas. Easy shopping with a good range of eateries. Pedestrianised main street with easy access to surrounding roads and facilities. There is nothing specific I would avoid on future visits.

The obvious highlight was the bar and restaurant which wouldn’t be out of place in New York. There was no need to go out and look for somewhere to eat as the simple food we chose was beautifully prepared and served. Best though was the friendly reception we got from the couple who have only just opened the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to seeing you again.DavidSweden

I never cooked at a "hotel" kitchen, since it was always a bit inconvenient or messy or dirty or I missed some condiments etc. This place is perfect in that aspect. walked into town, took 25 minutes in a calm quiet neighborhood. 5 minutes from the water-side by foot. recommended!

The hotel room is not in the main World Heritage building but instead a rebuilt newer farm building. Our room was modern but decorated/arranged and with a style from the 1800s.
