Very nice countryside location. Restaurant was fantastic, dinner so delicious and the setting very cosy. The breakfast was very good too. The mansion main building was nice and interesting and surrounded by a quite beautiful garden. I can imagine this place is even better during the spring and summer season (we were there in October). Very friendly staff.

Centrally located at the lock system in Haverud - just a few metres to the tour boat as well. The hostel maybe doesn`t look like much from the outside - but its a gem from the inside. Spacious, clean, well furnished... I liked everything about it. Also: very frienly personal.
