Cerro da Campaniça features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Santiago do Cacém, 23 km from Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina.

We cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Cerro da Campaniça! The room was beautiful, light filled and wonderfully comfortable, with amazing views. The host was incredible and is an excellent chef - the dinner and breakfast were delicious! He was also very informative of Portuguese history, food and farming - every conversation was an opportunity to learn. Even more appreciated was his understanding when we ran into health issues that impacted the length of our stay - he was super supportive and helped make a difficult situation much easier. Highly recommend staying here!

Stunning views, beautiful place to visit with so much history. The Retiro do Escova restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and great service. I didn't have a car so I depended on public transport which was economic and handy to go to visit other towns nearby.

If you are interested in history and things other than beaches, this area is surprisingly full of excellent places to visit, and virtually empty of the usual crowds. The Roman ruins are some of the best in Portugal. Also just 2 hours south of Lisbon airport, so very convenient stop on way to Algrave.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days to relax at the pool. When we arrived we found at there were construction works next to the pool (not at the hotel property). We were at bit disappointed, but the staff has done absolutely everything in their power to make our stay perfect. It’s very rare to find such excellent service and I would like to thank each and every member of the staff for all their efforts. You made our stay perfect and we will definitely come back!

Wonderful breakfasts and dinner choices. Great bed and linens, overall exceptional stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. We felt welcomed and well taken cared for. The space and concept is absolutely lovely. The food was the best we had in Portugal in one week & their pizza is fantastic. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We came down to have breakfast at 8:50 and most of the food was gone lol. So be early for your breakfast. The hotel can work a bit on their cleaning services and remove the cobwebs from the corners.

Ana & Mario were great hosts and went out of their way to meet all our needs and make our stay excellent. Their home was immaculate and the location was the most peaceful and quiet we have enjoyed in Portugal with an amazing view of the valley and city of Santiago do Cacem. We would definitely come again.

Exceptional. An old traditional house turned into a hotel. You wouldn't guess from the outside the gem that is behind the walls. Staff super friendly, a feeling of "home" created by the fact you're in an actual house.
