Great for a hostel. We had a private bedroom and bath. Exceptionally clean. Hot water and great water pressure. Lots of options for breakfast. Beds were terrible (springs) but the bedding was nice.

Said shared bathroom but had our own just outside the room which was large so good for 2 to get ready quickly in the am. Town is very small so close to everything - beach is beautiful and only 5 min away. Laundry and lines in sun to wash and dry from hiking was a nice bonus!

The location is wonderful, easy Accra off the Fisherman’s Trail and the property had a great common area for meal prep or to store food. The courtyard is a nice space to sit and chat and it was great value. We needed a last minute transfer in the morning g and the hosts were able to coordinate that for us. They were very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village . We wished we'd booked for two nights here as we didn't get to sample the local beach and the area around was worth of so much exploring. There is a coastal path which we would explore next time. We will come back!LouiseUnited Kingdom

My room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy, shower was fab, and there was even a hairdryer and somewhere to hang my clothes out to dry just outside the window. I didn't use the kitchen and was not shown any of the shared facilities by the girl who checked me in, but the dining area looked like a large sociable space to sit and cook/eat/hang out.GallopUnited Kingdom

As Almograve is a very small village, there are only a few restaurants for dinner. Therefore, it was nice to be able to fetch groceries from the nearby minimarket and prepare a small dinner at the house. We strongly recommend to go for a drink at the beach bar within 10 minutes walk from the house, which offers a stunning view!

The dorm room is a little cramped and the shared bathroom downstairs from it which makes a night time pee an ordeal. They offer a nice enough breakfast and a service forwarding backpacks on to the next stop on Rota Vicentina if too tired. The outdoor areas are nice and the village of Almograve and beach are worth visiting.

Light sleepers should note that the walls are thin and with windows open (no AC), you hear everything in the neighbourhood (which didn’t bother us).

Paulo, the owner, speaks English fluently and can give any kind of advice. The stay in Almograve definitely was one highlight on our hike on the Fishermen's Trail.
