I booked it because of the cats, the peacock, and the location. Rooms were clean, I enjoyed petting one or two of the cats that were friendly. It was a nice location to beaches, good recommendations, Nick was very helpful and accommodating with us. They had informative emails messages before the stay and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I enjoyed seeing the peacock, Reno. We got a laugh when he squawked on the roof. We had a wonderful time. It was nice having a fridge in the common area to store our leftovers. I’d stay here again.

Wow! I've been dying to stay here and it did not disappoint. The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Feels lush, unique, and bohemian. Like a magical little retreat in the jungle. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and fully vegan -- the perfect light meal before starting our beach day. The bed was comfortable and the view of the jungle from our room was so dreamy. Plus, the outdoor shower was heavenly. We also traveled with our dog and they had a little bed and food bowls waiting for him. Would definitely stay here again. Also, we rented a golf cart during our stay. Highly recommend you rent some sort of transportation, whether its that or a car.

If you have dreamed of having your own private beach...Vieques is for you! Bring everything you need because there are no facilities on the beaches. Very beautiful, but I think Flamenco beach in Culebra is perfection. My fave is Luquillo Balnearion Monserrate...so convenient.

Most of the remote beaches on the east side are closed due to stray bombs. They do not advertise this fact well.
The social climate on Vieques is somewhat hostile. The vendors are dishonest, trying to rip you off. Lots of rude people, drunks and bums. A fistfight and shouting match broke out on our ferry ride. The locals and strays seem to be annoyed by the masses of tourists. The restaurants are a bit expensive.
Overall it's a huge hassle getting to the island and then finding a car/cart. You're probably better off staying on the big island beaches. That being said, it's a beautiful spot and there's some nice snorkeling spots.

We came to see the BioBay.
We came to see the BioBay. It is quite a chore to get over there, so make it worth your while! We ate at Bananas and talked with a few of the locals. Got to see the wild horses that are all around the island. Enjoyed a sunset walk oceanside.

Vieques is gorgeous! There are so many beach opportunities.
Vieques is gorgeous! There are so many beach opportunities. We visited only four beaches on this trip since we spent only one day on Vieques. However, we loved driving across the island on a golf cart and taking in all the scenes. The horses everywhere give it a magical feel, and everyone is so friendly and laid back. Make sure to have cash as many vendors/food trucks don't take cards. The bio bay is INCREDIBLE and should be on everyone's bucket list!!

If you just want to get away and relax Vieques is the place to go. Not a lot to do here, simply enjoy the beaches and relax.
Easy to travel around island. Love all the horses roaming the island.
Ferry easy and safe and inexpensive. Love the bio bay tour of the bioluminescence at night. Real highlight.
Food on island was delicious.
Clean and well equipped house with wonderful views and excellent hosts. We stayed at a luxury hotel in San Juan and spent two nights here in Vieques. I would pick the Guesthouse not because of the luxury but the location and the fantastic hosts, Nikki and Steve. They are ready to answer any questions and guide you along the way. The property is clean and spacious and a few minute walk from a near private beach. Don’t think twice about staying here.
What a nice place amazing. Upon checking in John sat us down and walked us through everything on the island. He gave us useful phone numbers, in and out of the island. The place is super clean, very close to the ferry terminal and restaurants. John and Mike are great. The rooms and restrooms are very clean. This is an incredible place to stay in Vieques.
Finca Victoria was a magical stay, definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The breakfast is made fresh and served daily, you don't get a choice. More just a gorgeous vegetable / fruit mix appears in front of you. The whole hotel is vegan, so don't expect regular milk or eggs for breakfast. The staff were amazing too. The whole place is magic!
Skip and Linda were great hosts that accommodated all of our requests, and more! The rooms were spacious and free coffee and fresh mangoes were available everyday. Location is walking distance to all the beachfront restaurants and down the street from a convenience store, so it made our stay without a rental car manageable.
This hotel is beautiful- each room is like its own little cottage.
Tastefully decorated, and nicely spread out
Beautiful grounds and beach, which we were able to enjoy before check in, which was lovely
Restaurant on site was amazing- the best breakfast we had on our whole vacation ( dinner was really good too)
Wally was outstanding - he did everything to make my time at Vieques wonderful. From driving me to the airport to taking me to some of the best beaches in Vieques, to giving me bottles of water for the beach, he went above and beyond to make sure I left with good memories. Thank you Wally!
The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, happy to share their knowledge of the island and its life. They really go above and beyond their responsibility, not only they welcomed us but also our friends who stayed at another place and visited us.
Location! close to the Main Street in Esperanza. Also close to a few different tour companies, a golf cart rental, and beautiful beaches. The hosts were so welcoming & helpful. Highly recommend staying here if going to Vieques!
It’s a disaster, rooms are not at all good and no water at all in rooms. I know it’s kinda different life on island but if your maintaining a hotel you need to have basic amenities for sure. I prefer not to book this hotel.
Fantastic location with tremendous food downstairs and a beautiful ocean view. We loved this side of the island and the hotel is walking distance to all the great food on this side as well as the bio bay tours.
I loved staying here! Suzan & Tyler are fantastic hosts & went out of their way to make my stay on Vieques the best it possibly could be. They are very generous with all their information & recommendations.
Very peaceful place to relax, close to Esperanza and the Malecon(board walk). Dana & Gary were awesome. The fresh breeze from the balcony with the high fans and windows open keeped the room very cool.
Lage, room and terrace fitting for sharing with all age groups in the family, helpful information about the island from owners, cats, horses, roosters and baby peacocks.
