Our kid loved the elevator. Room was good, breakfast was included in the price even though the booking said we would need to pay extra. The hotel is a little older but very comfortable. All was good.

Everything except the location which was a bit off the beaten track, which may had brought the price down a little because it cost 500P( with the usual negotiation) to get there, but it was good they have a 24 hr front desk or at least they waited till our arrival which was 2 hrs after what we 1st expected.✈️ delay. Bed was nice, especially the sheets, they must have a high thread count and we loved the colours of the sheets, matched the curtains, timber doors and furniture.

Tacloban is a major city with just about everything you'll need, but nothing really special other than MacArthur Leyte Landing Memorial National Park in nearby Palo. I heard there are a couple new swimming resorts but I didn't visit them. That said, you are in driving distance (1 to 5 hours) of really nice coastlines, waterfalls etc. in Samar (and probably Leyte).

The City of Tacloban is a pity. There is nothing perfect.
The City of Tacloban is a pity. There is nothing perfect.
They need at least 50 Years to bring it up to near Canadian/American standards. It's impossible to walk safely as you could be overrun, or trip over obstacles or holes on roads or site walks if there are any at all.
Blocked by parking cars or motorcycles. When you look over the roofs from your hotel room it looks like Bangladesh.
There are lots of eateries, but all pretty junky. And the food is a disaster.
You can get around with this Toysycles, but they will rip you off.
There is absolutely no beach access.
Avoid Tacloban all together.

People are very nice. Laid back. Not intense.
People are very nice. Laid back. Not intense. Our time is short and so we had no time to really explore. Sto Nino Cathedral is worth visiting.
We went to see the lighted San Juanico Bridge but after waiting for two hours, nothing happened. It was a waste of our time.
The airport could be improved. It was very hot at the waiting lounge. Toilet is okay.

Just like any other city in the Philippines.
Just like any other city in the Philippines. Crowded, Traffic, Noise, Pollution, Hot, Lots to do, Lots to see.
Oh Almost forgot this one. For some reason or another Tacloban still requires you to have a QR CODE to enter Robinson, and a few other places. When we asked the Police Guard why, the reply was expected. Because they tell me to do this...lol. Seriously though, this is whats so puzzling about the Philippines. Every BRGY, Island, or City is different when it comes to COVID. Mask on/Mask off, No QRC/YES QRC. SMH.
Just figured since its all one GOV, you would follow what they put out.
This is why its More Fun in Dah Philippines... P.S Its cleaner and less Dirt and Dust like DIRTYGUETE (Dumaguete). Such a Dirty, and Dusty City that one is...

it was my first trip anywhere and I would recommend the phillppines to anyone who likes beautiful places it blew my mind with the views especially once you get away from the big towns, the people are so friendly and willing to chat . I am planning to return again soon to see more of this beautiful country
I was on a business trip for 30 days with my peers. The unit is very spacious, clean, and relaxing to live in. It has easy access to basic needs like a public market and convenience stores, as well as the mall. The landlords are very accommodating and very patient as to our requests and are very eager to serve their clients well. The rooms are very comfortable to work in. I'm not gonna stay in other hotels anytime I come back. I'm definitely gonna come back here. I would definitely recommend to my friends!
We like the unique old style house, garden out front to sit and enjoy and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
It is convenient to have the restaurant next door with value for money with generous portions in a relaxing environment.
It is our go to hotel when in Tacloban.
I have lost count of how many times we have been here now.
I always stay at the Lorenza when in Tacloban, if they have a room available. The breakfast there is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always helpful, courteous and very kind. I really like staying there - it feels comfy and secure.
I like the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities. But it need more furniture and plants in its surrounding both inside and outside the hotel. Its quite sterile and spartan milieu.
Bad service .we booked early with pay but we don't room .the staff throw us in the rooftop without wifi without tv remote control.aircon spoil, toilet never clean (bowl).worse hotel
I like the bed very comfortable. Near shops and mall. Easy transport around the area. Great staffs very friendly and the food is very good. I stay here again whenever I’m Tacloban.
Location was great and this hotel can run on it’s own back up power supply as there was a power outage on one day of my stay and the hotel was not affected in any way.
Very courteous and friendly staff. Room very clean Shower Hot water Toilet flush everything perfect.after the experiences of the last weeks 5 stars plus for the hotel.
I liked how comfortable their beds were. I also liked how smooth my transactions was with the hotel. They accept credit/debit transactions, so that was a plus for me.
Hotel is A Low Budget place to stay , thinking with A pool the standard would be slightly higher , the property is in need of A much needed upgrade .......
