The staff are very accomodating and even said that they will not sleep until we all settled down and sleep as well. We also had some fresh seafood cooked at their place and they followed our instructions and cooked im very well!

The vacation house is the downstairs section of the house. Upstairs is a boarding house for students at the local university, but they were very quiet and didn't bother us. The living/dining room was comfortable, as was the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. We had a slightly difficult start because the lady who manages the house (Nita) had not been informed of our booking and was surprised and a bit annoyed when we first arrived. However after this she turned out to be very nice and friendly and helpful. Top marks for her. There are few places to stay on Guimaras, especially in Buenavista. Cozy Vacation House was about all that I could find. We needed to stay in Buenavista as it is close to my wife's family. There is accommodation elsewhere such as in Jordan but that was too far away for us, so I booked Cozy Vacation House.

The Front Desk Lady was very competent and helpful and friendly! Kudos to her. But a hotel failing 2 of 4 times to prepare the breakfast, and a waiter who doesn’t serve the guest at all - is really disappointing!
