A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

Stunning location and beautiful room design, cute lamas, that you are allowed to feed, good breakfast, and good (European priced, but worth it) restaurant itself (we had lunch), real fireplace in casita, hot bath outside with a beautiful view; Oxygen mask is offered at lobby, if you have altitude sickness. David and his wife are lovely. If you’re urning for a weekend at your grandparents look no further. They will look out for you and make you feel at home. David was very helpful with directions and recommendations. Breakfast was excellent. There was endless hot water.
