The staff was super friendly and helpful. We could book a trip to the condor view point direct in the hostel. During our hiking trip in the colca canyon we could leave our lugages in the hostel. The breakfast was good and we could buy water in the hostel. The garden war great to relax after the long hike.

Dinner was very good and served communally. The setting is pleasant. The feel is rustic treking. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Adequate facilities are provided.
It is utterly silent at night as San Juan does not have any vehicle access. Beautiful sleep.
The best bit is the night sky, with almost no light pollution the stars are incredible.
