Attention to detail was exquisite in every way. Melana has created a fabulous space, indoors and out, and you feel like you’ve arrived in paradise. Very comfy and cozy, with delightful gardens lovingly created over 28 years, a joy to wander and explore. The breakfast was spectacular with choices of French toast, eggs, bacon, etc., and presented with flair. The spa, the pool, the views and a delightful host who has thought of everything - couldn’t have asked for more!

Loved everything about our stay. Beautiful gardens, fantastic food, all the comforts one could wish for and both Chris and Scott were really friendly and delightful hosts, no to mention their cooking was out of this world. Self check in, clear instructions provided by host. Beautiful setting in the middle of hills with lots of animal around. Nice terrace with huge BBQ (didn’t use). Good location outside of the village where you can get all necessities and around 1 hour from Tongariro NP.

The tables outside designated for smokers nice touch though we don't smoke it gave my Son and I outdoor personal space. And the views of the sky over Hospital hill amazing as in photo from the balcony of our room

The bed was very comfortable but strange it did not have a headboard. The location was great! It was nice and quiet. Good to have a microwave and basic Needs met.
