Had a great stay at Tawa Lodge!! The room was quaint and cosy, and also nice and warm when it was chilly outside. The view from our room was stunning and it included breakfast which was lovely to eat in the corridor and overlook the sea. The staff were nice and friendly and accommodating. Great location as only a short walk into town and to the beach (around 10 mins). Even though the bathroom was shared it was never an issue and always free when I needed it. Would recommend Tawa Lodge and I would stay here again when visiting the island!

The property said it was in Oneroa, but was actually a few kms out of town. Bus was convenient though.
Fenice and the Waiheke Grocer we’re both fabulous. Got a bargain at the Recycle Boutique. Cyclone prevented beach time, but had a lovely massage come to us (Inner Spring). Even in bad weather Waiheke was fun and beautiful

There are several excellent restaurants and many wonderful wineries on the island, which we recommend.
The locals are friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Oneroa several times and always look forward to returning. It is not a cheap destination.

Great place to visit, lots to do & see.
Great place to visit, lots to do & see. Earlier in the week a number of places closed due to Covid as they can't get the staff. Closer to the weekend more places open. Enjoyed lots of Cellar Door tastings & took lots of wine home to stock our cellar.

There was so much to like! Located within easy walking distance of Oneroa Village and beach, we really appreciated the privacy and tranquillity of this lovely garden setting. It was wonderful to wake up to kereru, tuis and fantails every morning and sit outside in our private patio area enjoying a glass of bubbly in the evening. The clean, modern, sunny studio was perfect for our needs and our host, Karen, was incredibly welcoming with great local knowledge. Her thoughtful touches made our 25th Wedding Anniversary getaway extra special.
We had the most wonderful stay at Punga Lodge! Dianne is an amazing host, and even left some cakes in our room for afternoon tea! We were a group of 7 and renting two houses was the perfect size for us (and at such a good price!). We enjoyed the spacious lounge and spa on site. It's the perfect location too- 10 minute walk from town, easy bus from the ferry, and a short taxi to the wineries. The location is also beautiful, with lots of privacy looking out onto the bush. Thanks for an awesome time on Waiheke!
An awesome property and perfect for our weekend stay with family & friends to celebrate a special birthday. The accommodation is within walking distance of both Mudbrick & Cable Bay so a great location. The Lodge is fabulous - very comfortable and 'home from home' with regards to everything you need. The beds were really comfy and entertainment area superb - we made great use of it with our friends who were staying in the other three 1-bed units next door.
My wife and I spent six nights at Cable Bay Views.
This was our sixth time holidaying on Waiheke Island and one of our best primarily due to the accomodation.
Very clean and tidy unit with great facilities, even matching wine and champagne glasses!!!
Fantastic location, nice views of the vineyards, plenty of birdlife and a couple of cute rabbits.
Within walking distance to Oneora township and beach, Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyards.
The location was fantastic and the accommodation was reasonably priced, clean, modern and had everything I needed. Close to ferry and Oneroa village shops, restaurants, cafes and beach. Heidi was a lovely, friendly and helpful host. The extra touches; chocolate, tea and coffee etc were really appreciated and her restaurant recommendations were spot on. Loved the 'Courtyard' and 'Fenice' dining experience.
The location is great, with bus stops and Little Oneroa Beach only a short walk away. A walk into Oneroa is also very easy. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, with the awesome home baked cakes and the homemade muesli standing out in particular. It was wonderful to soak in the spa pool, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)
We had a lovely time at the lodge - we stayed over the Christmas holiday and were treated like family by Andy and Pip. The ability to borrow a car or e-bikes as well as have a great backyard to hang out in made it an easy place to relax and enjoy our downtime between beaches and wineries. The breakfast and honor bar were a really nice touch.
Wonderful spacious apartment. Lovely and clean and very functional. Comfy bed. Very quiet. A home away from home really. Had a lot of items not usually found in an apartment/motel (e.g. first aid kit, insect spray, fire extinguisher, books.) Very enjoyable stay. Close to Oneroa village. Recommended.
All the thoughtful personal touches, Bath robes, Bottle of bubbles, cereals, first aid kit, magazines, beach towels, rain umbrella etc. Hosts Bruce and Jules were excellent. Beautifully presented property, great location within walking distance to beach and village, restaurants, shops etc
Astrid was very welcoming. Let us settle in, then came and introduced herself. Even dropped us into Oneroa. The view was lovely and the location very peaceful. The property was nicely decorated and all the little touches, e.g. chocolates were much appreciated.
Annie n stu very friendly and welcoming. Went the extra mile for us as our wedding anniversary and very wet weather. Loved Annie's museli. We enjoyed the walks to little oneroa and oneroa village for coffee. Lovely location and nice view to the backyard.
Proximity is outstanding, into Oneroa village with public transportation, shops and restaurants and galleries and a awesomely good gelato shop ☺️ 😊. Plus the view toward Hauraki Gulf is priceless and Oneroa Beach is a stone throw away.
