This was our third stay at the Nirvana Boutique! We highly recommend this hotel and didn’t even consider staying anywhere else on our return to Kathmandu!
In addition to the beautiful garden and great breakfast, what sets the Nirvana apart is the exceptionally friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. We were greeted with friendly smiling faces at every opportunity and were always made to feel at home.
Every member of staff we encountered was great! We would like to mention in particular Mallika, Choten, Sagar and Arjun on the reception and Satish, Sumi, Richa, Pardip, Shankar and Kusai in the restaurant. They really made each stay at the Nirvana a special experience! (Sorry if we missed anyone!)
We can’t wait to come back!

There are a lot of historical places to see nearby and some nice nature excursions through day trips as well. A lot to explore in terms of culture and shopping. It can be a little dusty and polluted at times so better to wear a mask when walking around the city.

We stayed in Kathmandu following the flight and to organise the remainder of our trip. I believe that 2 days in Kathmandu is ample to explore the city and take in the sights either before heading off to explore the stunning beauty of Nepal or when finishing the trip

Nepal is like another world, well worth visiting for the adventurous and open-minded.
Mountains, Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas and Tibetan monasteries, cities bustling with cheerful people and open-fronted shops, squalor and beauty, power cuts, street dogs and chickens, chaotic beeping traffic, 50% motorbikes and scooters, sometimes with more that two on board, which nevertheless an old lady can somehow cross safely.

So many things to see and experience, truly awesome.
So many things to see and experience, truly awesome. Lots of places to eat to experience the local cuisine. lots of places are within walking distance and the taxis are very cheep to get to the places out of walking distance. On a word of caution, wear a face mask, the air pollution is chronic. One disappointing thing that I found quite shocking was that the supposedly "sacred river" that flows through the city was treated as an open sewer. The smell and sight of raw effluent coming from the waters was horrific.

It’s a crazy high pace of screaming motorbikes and daredevil taxi drivers with your life in their hands. Some interesting spiritual sites of interest and a bazillion trekking companies and trekking equipment and clothing stores selling the top names brands all fake of course. You gotta love the people and their culture !!
it was tucked back in a quieter alley which is quite the commodity in Kathmandu. We were able to easily walk throughout the Thamel and there were so many restaurant options close by. the provided breakfast is worth getting as it was hearty with lots of options. it was clean and the staff was helpful. we had a group member get sick and the other two of us were able to easily get another room for the night. they also had a laundry service that was very reasonable. hotel Jampa was a great value and I’d definitely stay there again.
This is a great place to stay in Kathmandu. The hotel is newly-opened after having been closed for several years. The style is traditional but in no way outdated. The staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming of all requests; I have never been taken care of as nicely as I was here. The best part about this hotel is the garden, which is a place of complete tranquility even though it is in notoriously busy Thamel. Increbile value for money for my stay. Thank you to Khagendra and his staff-members for their lovely attitude.
This was my third stay in Kathmandu and the best hotel experience so far. The hotel is located just few streets away from Thamel’s craziness but in such a quite point. Perfect location, great friendly staff. Rabin was texting us even before we arrived in Kathmandu and during our stay he and other staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, breakfast was ok. Check in and checkout experience was good also. I would stay there next time again.
Superb hotel and very hard to fault. Customer service was easily the best I experienced throughout my 3 months in Nepal, nothing was too much trouble for Raj and David at the front desk. Rooms are big, light and spacious and cleaned daily to 5 star quality. Place is tucked away down a quiter alley in thamel but just a short 2min walk to restaurants and the crazyness of the area. A very good standard breakfast is also included in the price.
This is the third time I stayed in this hotel because their budget private rooms are the best deal I could find in Thamel district. I used to pay almost the same for a bed in shared dorms in hostels but after I found this place it’s a no brainer just get their budget private room with private bathroom and you will probably have much better sleep and privacy. Also the balcony style access to the rooms are kind of nice
I highly recommend this property. Mr. Itani and his team were amazing! I can honestly say Divine Kathmandu was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in all my travels. They were very accommodating and welcoming. The staff showed a genuine kindness and desire to ensure your stay with them was pleasant and hassle free.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Best location in Thamel, away from street noise but close to everything. Staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is so good, lots of choices and they made me fresh egg :) view from balcony is lovely, can watch the sunset over Kathmandu. Very happy with Divine Hotel, I left a different hotel to come back because they are the best. Stay here!
Best hotel ever we visit
Hospitality is so good.....This hotel located in thamel everything is near by like club & casino ....Taxi is easily available from here & hospitality is too good & food we rated 10/10
Highly recommend ❤️
Mr. Rajendra ji behavior is too good towards the customers they treat us like a family thank you for support ❤️👍
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skyline during my recent visit to Kathmandu, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, this hotel exceeded my expectations.
First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Thamel, it's a stone's throw away from all the action, shops, and restaurants.
The best place to stay in Kathmandu!! They opened a month ago and everything is brand new. The staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. The rooms are super comfortable and the views are amazing off the private balcony. Location is a 10/10 too. This is the best value we have found in a hotel.
A Delightful Stay in the Heart of Kathmandu's Thamel
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in the vibrant neighborhood of Thamel during my visit to Kathmandu, Nepal. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, setting the tone for a truly enjoyable stay.
I strongly advise this hotel. The location is perfect, next to Thamel, but in this hotel you don't listen hustle and bustle of the street. It's a quiet place. The staff is very friendly and rooms are good. The breakfast is very good with sweet and salt food served in a tiny quiet garden. Moreover is a cheap hotel :)
Beautiful view from hotel room and roof.View from roof 360 D. Felt like my second home .Friendly staff. WIFI is fast as well .Best location for Thamel ,Kathmandu dubar square and Swyambhu stupa (monkey temple also called).

The lovely hotel located in the central location of Thamel. The room is tastefully furnished and had everything we needed. The staff is also super nice and always happy to help.
