Everything. Amazing view to the mountains, a quiet place, close to the downtown (with car) and very clean. The apartment has actually everything you need: 2 comfy bedrooms, one large living room, a very good equipped kitchen (including a laundry washing machine) and a decent bathroom. Lovely hotel in a beatuful village in a scenic valley. Good spot, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff - they gave us great advice to take the amazing scenic route over the mountains towards Bergen rather than the very long tunnel. Thanks for that.

The hotel, which was built in the 19th century (wow!), is absolutely charming both inside and outside. A special thanks I want to say to the family who runs the hotel. They did a really great job of making all the visitors feel comfortable. The family owners invest so much love and attention to detail in this place, you can feel it. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful. In addition, perfect sleep with the sounds of a waterfall as a bonus.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Kvamme, Steinklepp Camping is a campground surrounded by views of the garden.

Given that this is one of the few hotel and dinner options in town (captive market), it was very expensive but still very enjoyable. the room was spacious and had a great view. the breakfast/dinner area was lovely and the food wonderful. There is also a lovely outdoor space which means you don’t need a balcony per se. Staff very friendly and helpful with info about nearby hikes.
