This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was great, bed was comfy. There are a lot of amenities in this hotel/hostel, such as a kitchen, bar, communal space, laundry etc.

We were booked into a double room but the room was in bad condition. Broken flush button on toilet, cracked window seal, mouldy smell. We approached the manager to complain but she wasn't very cooperative. She finally swapped us to 2 single rooms and all went well. Mattress on one side of bed was a bit too soft for my back so I ended up with a stiff back.
All in all good value for money hotel in the single rooms.

Zwanenburg is good location as a base for short day trips by road and train to Amsterdam, Harlem and Utrecht. There are a few good eating places within the mostly residential town, with some small local shops and supermarkets.

First of all, it’s located near cafes and supermarket so it’s easy to buy groceries and stuff. Second, the guy at the reception desk gave me a better room to stay! He also gave me directions to the train station as it was easier and shorter to travel by train than by bus. When I told him I was gonna check out early because my flight was at 10 he offered free shuttle drive although it said shuttles were usually available after 1 pm! He was right about arriving at the airport 1 hour before flight as reaching the gate was far faster than I expected! Although 13 km from the center of Amsterdam I still definitely recommend this hotel as it is cheaper and the accommodation stay is comfortable!

I only chose this hotel because I needed a room for one night in transit. Clean, comfortable, good value for money. It had everything it should have for one night in transit.
Although the hotel is located 15 minutes away from the airport, they do not send the shuttle bus to pick you up when you call them to say that you have arrived. In my case, they told me to wait for 45 minutes. However, when it comes to the time you arrange that the shuttle bus takes you from the hotel to the airport, they are very punctual. They arranged that the shuttle bus picks me up from the hotel at the exact time that I asked.

Zwanenburg is rather a quiet neighbourhood, better for people who wants to relax and go for walks or to ride a bike. Just a few shops and restaurants, but still very good availability to get to Amsterdam city center - not far to there - it's possible to get there by a train in 15 minutes. The railway network in Netherlands is very good, the train goes every few minutes.
The host is amazing, very approachable and helpful. When I stepped into the house it smelled like home. Spotlessly clean, excellent taste in interior design, built in closet hid the suitcase, hairdrier, equipped kitchenette, all necessities for a short stay. Nice garden to enjoy the sunshine, smart TV connected to wifi. The train station is within 10 minutes walking, easy to get to Amsterdam center. There is also an outlet center nearby if you are interested in shopping.
Easy parking and Lidl right behind the apartment. Close and easy connections to the city. 10 minutes by train (just two stops) that leaves every 15 minutes from early morning to late at night. About 15-20 minute walk to the station. Good enough rooms and private. Nice staff at the hotel for checkin, flexible.
The hotel was Close to bus stop and 15 min walk to train which was Very Close, Very good location Lidl 5 mins away.
Very easy way of Checking in and out :)
Staff very friendly and helpful!
Balcony was a huge plus for the room.
It's a nice Place to stay, and if you travel to Amsterdam, you're glad coming back to this Place. It's definitively more quiet.
You habe everything u need. Even a Supermarket around the corner.
The room is super clean in a very nice location, not to far from the train/bus station.
The price was good, given the other prices of other hotels in Amsterdam.
