Breakfast was excellent with lots of options: fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh warm bread, warm boiled eggs, preserves, cheese etc. very nice. It arrived right on time. There is a coffee machine and hot water cooker with coffee, tea, and sugar provided. The apartment was huge, in a historical building, a former stable, surrounded by big trees and horses in the fields. Personable hosts completed the picture. All located in the lovely Twente countryside near the German border. Excellent if one travels in a family setting with multiple bedrooms required in the same apartment.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the city center, with public transport (train, bus), many sights and a central market place (market days on Wednesday and Saturday) within walking distance. The place also has a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor places to enjoy a meal. The location has a very appealing, modern and functional design, with an interesting arrangement of facilities in the rooms. The rooms are clean, a coffee machine, water kettle and coffe/tea are available in the rooms. Especially at this price, the place is definitely worth a stay!

The hotel is in a charming location with shops and restaurants all around. Good quality and variety of food at breakfast. The staff was very attentive to make sure everyone was getting coffee/tea and checking in to see if people needed refills. Rooms were basic, but clean. I appreciated having a fan in my room.

Het Wapen van Delden Hotel is a 3-star family hotel. It is on the edge of the historic quarter of Delden, famous for the Twickel Castle and the beautiful surroundings.

Needs better quality beds in order to upgrade to the next level. One bedroom was huge, the other very small. No restroom on the second floor. There is a winding stairway so not suitable for less mobile guests: better get a suite with all amenities on the same floor. Nevertheless a charming property I would elect to stay in another time. However next time in a more handicapped accessible suite.
