Location, amenities, room size, cleanliness, staff, breakfast everything was good. The reception was open late at night for us to be able to check-in later than the planned arrival time. The breakfast was really delicious and had lots of options. We had a really short stay of just one day and would like to go back sometime leisurely. Maybe stay for more than a couple of days. The restaurant has lots of free parking places and it is really convenient to drive to the airport.

It was cancelled.
It was cancelled. All travel into the EU blocked and yet I was charged the full 100% cancellation fee. It's really poor that I could not even be given the opportunity to reschedule my stay to when this chaos is over. Between Bookings and Nieuw-Vennep, they have given a very bitter taste in the mouth due to their inflexibility at this time when it comes to applying thier cancellation policies.

I went to Nieuw-Vennep for work reasons. It is a quiet, residential town away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. It's very relaxing there. The only negative is the Church bell which rings every half hour (even during the night!). The locals are used to this but for visitors it is a little hard to get used to. Other than that, I found my stay there very enjoyable.
