The hotel is really first class. The room was located in the new wing on the 2nd floor. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The complete breakfast is served on a large plate per person. The location is fabulous with a view over the River IJssel. The little ferry brings you to the other banks where you can enter the historical town of Deventer. The so called 'living' is the nicest place in the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent - breads, yoghurt, plenty of fruit.
The location is fantastic - in a quaint, period building with lots of old pictures and a room stuffed with old Dutch period items.
The bathroom was fine.
Hortance was very helpful as she was servicing a group of us who traveled there for work. We appreciated her flexibility in allowing 2 other couples in our group, staying in a different hotel, to eat breakfast there (for a reasonable fee).

Really well thought out with lots of extras that made the room feel really special.
Beautiful location within cycling distance of downtown Diepenveen. Easy access to Deventer as well. The property is in a nice rural area surrounded by forests and fields with horses. Very pretty and great country feel. The accommodation was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Access to 2 bicycles.
