Veluwezoom National Park which was our main purpose there.
Veluwezoom National Park which was our main purpose there. It was fun biking in the Park. But we miss the heather season, most of it has dried up. We ate in Athlone, beautiful place with good food. As it was our 1st trip, we were not familiar with the public transport system. Will check and try out the public transport system if we go back again. Staff was very friendly. We were surrounded by woodlands where we had some beautiful walks. Within walking distance we enjoyed another superb meal at restaurant La Maison de Steeg which had lavish Xmas decorations and also friendly staff with good service.HendrikaNetherlands

The breakfast was ok but the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The trails start right by the hotel and they're well marked. I was able to walk around using only the map the hotel provided me.
