The staff were very helpful. They facilitate our needs at any time. We could not find soap and shampoo in the hut. Oof the owner/manager delivered them to us at night around 10PM. We appreciated that a lot.

Pretty riverside town with everything we needed, including a choice of supermarkets and an excellent bakery. Had a great evening meal at Hof van Dalfsen on the northern edge of town. Plenty of pleasant walks in the area and, of course, cycleways. Recommend visiting Zwolle (20 mins by car) and, for something completely different, Batavialand at Lelystad (about 45 minutes' drive) for its excellent boatyard and replica of the Batavia.

The hotel is simple in its interior as are the rooms (bed, closet, table, coffeemaker, television set). But a good bed and a hot shower. We had a good night sleep although the room was the first one on the hallway and many people stayed in the hotel. In general, the price we paid for the room was very much okay for a room during the summer season.

Big rooms with high ceilings make you feel very relaxed and not closed in, a complete contrast to the Wildthout Hotel I stayed in last night that had poky rooms. The bed was pretty comfy and the continental breakfast has nice. Not much to do in Delfsen except walks and cycling. The host provides a bike if you require one.
