Our host, Cristian was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay wasn't only pleasant but comfortable and fun. He offered to take us to "Los Azufres" which are the natural hot springs and also took us to the airport for a fair price. We highly recommend staying at Pura Vida Cuidad Hidalgo on your next trip!

What Guests Said About Los Azufres:

There isn't a lot to like about Los Azufres.

There isn't a lot to like about Los Azufres. It's almost 3,000 metres above sea level, so a very cold spot. They charged for heating in the cabin and charged for internet use (it must be 15 years since I paid for internet in a hotel). The restaurant food was supermarket junk food and the tea was served in a chipped cup without a saucer. Staff are not properly trained although they are doing their best. It has great potential but the owners don't seem willing to invest and it's a shame because it's in a beautiful location.
