The villa was ideally located on the beachfront with a decent sized pool, it was ideal for 2 families of four with children as it was was very spacious. Ashwin, our host welcomed us on arrival and showed us round, he and Karim were also available during our stay to resolve a couple of issues when required. Priya, the housekeeper was very friendly and respectful of our space.

It was very disappointing. The trouser at dinner policy was restrictive and unforseen. It made the stay very limited. They advertised activities for children but then didn't do any. Staff knew very little about most things

Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.
The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

Tamarin is a coastal village without the big hotels but lovely beach areas, nice restaurants and handy shopping facilities near a lot of the tourist sites on the west coast. It is a good located city.
It is a good located city. If you wish to explore this area of island, its a good place from where to start. You will find at least two bigger shop, where you can buy food and other supplies. The Tamarin beach is also very nice (the smaller one was better for us).BarboraCzech Republic

We really loved everything (the animals, the garden, the guest house, the delicious food) and will definitely come again. We really liked the area around Tamarin. With a rental car you can reach many beautiful places quickly and easily. You quickly get used to the left-hand traffic. Thank you for the great tips and the recommendation to surf. We had so much fun surfing with Hugo. Thank you for the fantastic time we will remember forever!SusanneGermany

The swimming pool and the garden are amazing and relaxing. The view (especially early morning) is magnificent and you have a great access to small beaches. The appartment is the perfect set up for 8 people with a bathroom in each room, and you can park your car inside. Staff is very nice and smilling but you need to speak french or creole if you want to understand most of their saying.

Wifi in my room wasn’t working, but I was offered to work on the balcony at the penthouse, so it was much more better option with a beautiful view as an bonus. Fabrice and Pascal are such a welcoming and kind people. And also what you can excpect as a bonus are two german shepards with puppies ❤️. I would definitely stay again.
