sunrise apartments are very nicely furnished with all the necessary equipment for a short or long stay. They are separated from the crowd and noise. Just a 10-minute easy walk to the center of Dojran. The most beautiful morning is when you watch the sunrise from the terrace and the incredible peace surrounded by untouched nature and a view of the lake. Slobodanka, the owner, is wonderful, young and hospitable

We had such a warm welcome, the host prepared coffee and sweets so the whole stay really felt like we came to visit our close relative! The rooms were clean and the view from the balcony was awesome! The children enjoyed the property and the garden full of young cats which were willing to play.

Star Dojran is a peaceful and relaxing commune on the shores of Lake Dojran, built on the remaining on the destroyed city of Dojran during World War I. The commune offers everything you can expect from a small touristic spot, great climate, lake views, a modest beach, several cheap but good bars and restaurants, and great hiking trails up the mountains. It's a perfect spot for a weekend getaway with family and friends, especially if you are looking for a place that's a bit off the grid and not as touristic as Ohrid Lake. Additional value are the cheap prices, super friendly locals with great English, the peaceful and quiet evenings, and the warm summerish weather up until the middle of November. And let's not forget it's proximity to other towns in the area, the city of Strumica, and Greece - which all makes Dojran a great place even for a longer stay, especially if you are with a car.SrgjaNBelgium - 6.0Scored 6.0
One day is really enough to explore Dojran.
One day is really enough to explore Dojran. There are few fish restaurants near the lake. There are beaches but most of the people are just sunbathing. The lake doesn't look clean and I guess that is the main reason why there are just few people swimming in the lake. Perfect for overnight stay if you travel to Greece as there is a nearby border crossing. Other than that, not really much to see.

Star Dojran looks like Pripjat from Chernobyl. Awful, dirty place where you don't have anything except a couple of restaurants near the lake and that's all. Lake is extremely dirty and smells bad too. This place is good only for a one nights stay when you're travelling to Greece.Stefan

The communication with Anna was quick and helpful. The apartment was clean and sufficient for a one-night stay. It has a great view from the bar on the Dojran lake and Greece hills on the other side. Recommended!
