Very clean, clean towels and made up bed every day. Outside shades could be closed to block out virtually all light and reduce traffic sounds. Could open windows if desired. Relatively quiet area. Very friendly and accommodating hosts when we told them arriving late for check-in. Liked the pillows. Good internet. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Good location, well connected with bus and trams to the airport and to the centre (public transport is free as well).
The centre can be reached walking as well and it's a very nice walk. The room was big, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was ok too, the bed was comfortable. I haven't tried the breakfast.
There are a few restaurants and cafe' nearby, I liked the Japanese restaurant just on the opposite side of the road.
I'd say that it's a good hotel, would recommend.

We stayed at Skol L'Original for a night whilst exploring the city of Luxembourg.
We arrived, and used key safes to enter our room. The room and hotel are lovely, not a conventional hotel but the room was gorgeous, and clean.
Its located 15 mins away from the centre of Luxembourg via free public transport which is a great bonus and it also had free car parking at the hotel which was great.
The hotel does have a bar underneath the rooms which we were aware of when we booked. Music does play until 1am - which we were hesitant about but earplugs were provided in the room and we didn't really notice it as we were watching telly until late.
The shower in the room was fantastic, perfect pressure and temperature. The room also had heating/air con system which was also a massive plus.
If we ever return to Luxembourg, we would definitely stay here again, and recommend.
I only stayed for one night on Oct.29. I told the hotel I would stay for one night but the hotel charged me two nights. It is very unacceptable that the hotel gave me the ready made invoice before giving me the key to my room. The invoiced charged me two nights. I told the hotel I only stay one night, but the hotel said it was already charged. If I have anything, talk to Booking. It is Booking who charged two nights. So, I need refund from Booking.
It is an all round good offer for the traveller that wants a short, resting stay.
The restaurant of the hotel is very good, which is a great convenience. Very good breakfast, personalized, great coffee.
The settings, a tranquil, charming, prosperous village in Luxembourg allows for most pleasant walks.
It is a perfect road hotel, in a small quiet Luxemburgish village. The attached restaurant (oriental cuisine) is very good, and indeed popular with the (affluent) locals. Great breakfast. The morning coffee was particularly excellent.
The hotel is on the outskirts of town, so it is a little walk into town. There is an Asian restaurant downstairs with good sushi and Chinese dishes for a reasonable price. It is older, but is in good shape.
