We had only planned to stay for three nights and then extended it to 10 nights in total. We had the room with private pool and it was really beautiful. It is a very large and clean room and the facilities were perfect. We also found the location pleasantly quiet and idyllic and you can reach the sea in 5-10 minutes by scooter/tuktuk or in Unawatuna with many great restaurants and shops. The owner is a super nice and helpful man. He fulfilled our every wish and took care of our concerns personally. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

The pools, both the private guests pool and the main complex with water slides is a lot of fun for older kids / teens. The pools made this the favourite accomodation spot for this trip for the 13yr old in our party. The gardens were beautiful and the serenity of watching the sun rise over the rice fields was very special. Rooms were good sized, with roomy bathrooms, working AC, comfortable beds and each had a fridge and a jug. There was a washing machine - but no clothes line to hang anything to dry. Overall we did enjoy the stay at Leisure Land as it was somewhere quite different, but it was quite pricey compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

I have stayed in many places during my visit to Sri Lanka, all in similar price range, and this place was one of the best. Very clean, AC working properly, specious room, comfortable bed, clean linen and very friendly owner. Quite far from the beach and town centre but it didn’t bother us as we had our own tuk tuk.
