This is a very private, hidden-away location in walking distance to the National Park. In fact, you can't get closer by staying anywhere else--and this means you save time by getting to sleep in during the morning. The host and owner, Leel, doesn't speak much English, but uses Google Translate to always help. The rooms have the best A/C, and with only a few bedrooms on the property, it's very private and great for bird-watching. Simple, efficient, and relaxing.

Anta and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting to Anta as he is very knowledgeable about all wildlife. He organised a safari for us with a great guide who was very passionate about the animals. Safari park is very close to the property. The binoculars and books were a great addition to our stay. Our host was really kind, helpful and attentive, he arranged for us the Wilpattu National park private tour in jeep and a great dinner at the private terrasse of our house. Our host also organized and drove us to Sigiriya. He is the kindest host and person we met in Sri Lanka since we arrived. We highly recommend this private lovely house and would be pleased to stay again in a next trip !

The whole experience was amazing. The room was great, no large in size but perfectly adequate with a large covered outside area.
All the staff were wonderful along with the home cooked meals! We highly recommend Ceylon resort especially if doing a safari at Willpattu, which they also offer!

Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter.
The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of.
Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.
