We were picked up and returned to Kawaguchiko station which we appreciated. We were given refreshments on arrival.
Our room overlooking the lake was wonderful. We appreciated the Yukata robes and really liked the private onsen which meant that as an opposite sex couple we could enjoy together. If it had not been in cloud, the private bath would have had a great view of Fuji san.
The staff were all excellent and very polite. The observation room at the top of the hotel gave us our first real view of Mount Fuji as it had been cloudy on arrival.
The food was excellent, the buffet evening meal had so much choice and was of a very high quality.

The room was spacious, the view was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes; the little luxury items that made a difference.
We stayed a few days to look around Mt Fuji with a hired car, so I can’t comment on location in terms of public transport. There is a shopping mall nearby, it’s handy to buy a few things. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. The coffee shop next to the carpark has great coffee.

We loved the view, location, and cleanliness! There were a few spiders in the second floor bathroom at times but besides that it was very clean and safe. I liked that there is breakfast available any time. I also liked that the staff could speak English but was able to speak with me in Japanese so I could practice my Japanese speaking. I am glad there was a refrigerator for my things and they didn’t throw away any of my things during the 3 days I was there.

i was transported back to the past staying here, a traditional Japanese style accommodation with sensational bathe house on top floor overlooking looking Fugi mountain. The best part it is cross the road from main ticket station to see all tourist sites in Fugi. Thank You for Experience and kind Hospitality 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
