stayed at the hotel as liked the novelty of staying in a hotel with an observatory, and it really didn't disappoint. even though the star-gazing tour was led in japanese, so was difficult to follow, the views were very impressive, and the enthusiasm of the staff was enough to carry the experience.
rooms were roomy and warm considering it was below zero outside.

We had an enjoyable stay in this Blue Sky and White Dragon . Though the 6 of us had to put up in 2 rooms the host Sakai San and hie wife made us most welcome.
We booked in for dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed both the meals very much .The dishes were quite original and traditional. We are truely surprised that that the hostess can prepared those dishes.
The highlight was the drum performance by Mr and Mrs Sakai' children .
We wished we could have stayed another day to venture the surrounding area.

The owners were exceptionally lovely, I arrived when it was a bit dark, but she quickly responded to my message about my arrival and helped me get to the property.
Also their generosity and kindness were amazing despite me being a little lost in my Japanese understanding.
Stay was comfortable with a great view of the mountains greeting you as you woke up.
I would definitely recommend staying here, probably arriving a little before the sun sets as the small streets can be a little confusing if you take the wrong route.
