Pretty secluded, better and cheaper to ask hotel for transportation beforehand. The food , especially dinner and dessert is amazing. Love being able to ski straight down to the hotel door. A couple different routes were available and it wasn’t crowded at all.

So many nice things that it is hard to know where to start. There is a lounge area with large picture windows and a nice collection of snacks and drinks to partake of as you look at the beautiful views. In the evening they have a shamisen player.
There is a small Shinto shrine at the corner of the lawn and picnic tables if you want to sit outside.
The on-sen area was lovely with great amenities and an outdoor bath with views out to the Sea of Japan.
The food was excellent. It was mostly buffet style but beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, both at breakfast and dinner. We stayed three nights and, for guests who stay more than one night they have local specialties cooked at you table. On the first night it was abalone and on the second it was beef and onions.
We got a real kick out of all the apple juices and products available (Aomori is known for its apples).
