I am astonished!! I have never thought that there is such a place in Tafilah. What a great mixture between history and modern way of living!! I really like the great natural castle near the rooms. The place is so clean that I wouldn't mind sleeping on the ground. My room has a fireplace which I found very wonderful. I recommend everyone passing Tafila to stop there before going to Petra, especially when I knew that the natural castle is a Nabatine castle. I also like the cup of tea on the roof while watching the magnificent sunset. Every thing about it was extremely good. Generosity and hospitality are noticeable in people working there. Thank you very much for the unforgettable night I had there.

Beautiful place, very attentive and helpful staff, huge room with great views, good breakfast
About four hundred years ago, the present village was built. Over the years, many families in Dana village have moved to the nearby village of Qadissiya in search of better jobs, schools, and housing....

Very quaint hotel in Dana Village, right at the start of the Wadi Dana trail. We booked the budget room but received a upgrade to one with a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner helped us arrange a private transfer to Madaba at a very low cost. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

The mountain setting is absolutely stunning and the welcome by our host was warm and sympathetic - right from the first encounter in the Dana village over the delicious tea to the excellent homemade food. Our conversations gave us insights and thereby a deeper understanding of local life. One of the walls in our room was natural rock and facing it we had large windows giving us a magnificent view towards the valley and mountains. The whole area is very peaceful and safe - besides from being extraordinarily beautiful!

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely enjoyed out stay. We would extend but the place was fully booked. The location is amazing with the breathtaking view. Our room was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and large window overlooking the gorge.
The staff is helpful and always attentive. Breakfast was great and we loved the homemade dinners offered in the evenings. Our special thanks go our host Moreno who went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
We certainly recommend this place, be it as a base for your hiking tour or as a romantic getaway for a couple of days.

Good location. Adequate room. Excellent food. Huge breakfast
The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel.
The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.
