The check in and the wrist bands that opened the rooms was a great feature. The bougalerie cafe (24hrs) was great and the chocolates were great. Need to maybe have gelato also with the ice cream. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was nice and calm sea and soft sand. Location was nice to walk to downtown Ocho Rios. The sign for the resort should be alittle bigger and more closer to the road.

(MY OPINION) Ocho Rios is one of the most beautiful towns in Jamaica. My absolute favorite river in Ocho Rios is Blue Hole.
Nightlife: 8Rivas & Taboo (there may be others, but never been)
Restaurants: There are a lot of great restaurants; some may not be in Ocho Town, but they are worth the drive (Miss T, Plantation, Sharkies, Roxborough, 8Rivas, etc..)
One of the reasons I love Ocho Rios is how easy it is to move about the town freely and safely.

We stayed for four nights.
We stayed for four nights. It is good for us as we went to the market , stores which was walking distance. Friendly people and we felt safe walking in the town. We eat at mongoose restaurant. Really good food and atmosphere. We also eat at island grill and the food is good. Go to the market for coconut water and fresh fruits.

Very interesting - but lots of litter.
The saddest was the stray injured and neglected dogs and cats.
As a single traveler one does not wander off on their own in Jamaica.
The Jamaican people are lovely!!
Great food!!

The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible.
The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible. Waking up to the welcoming site of the ocean could not have been more refreshing, exhilarating, and soothing.
The food was delectable and delicious, freshly prepared and very appetizing.
The friendly, experienced staff made one felt like you were among family. They exhibited and extended all the common courtesies one could have ever expected, this is no acting, or kidding, these are genuinely very hospitable individuals by nature.
View was very beautiful, food seems to be always short, no communication between front desk and restaurant they seem to be always unprepared for a crowd. The Jamaican dishes are tasty however. Rooms had ants, not enough towels, no wash cloths , no iron or boards in the rooms. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Parking space are extremely limited. Beach area is small but gives a private feel. The view from this property is awesome and for me and family the top of our list and the only A+.
Sand and Tan felt like home away from home during our long weekend in Ocho Rios. It's a beautiful hotel, beachside, with a very caring & friendly staff. We had so much fun here! Breakfast every morning is delicious and relaxing. Spent most days swimming in the ocean and relaxing on the private beach. The hotel is right next to White River, close to waterfalls and rainforest, Bob Marley's 9 mile tour, etc.. Ochi has great food, fun nightlife & good vibes.
The owner of the apartment,Jamie, was always available via whats app to respond to any enquires.
Apartment was a spacious for 2 people..
Beds were comfotable. Bathroom and shower room very good.
Traditional Jamaican breakfast can be purchased from local chef via a van each morning on complex.
Location great and easy walking distance into the main town
I liked the location because I rented a car and as a returning citizen it’s between Ocho Rios and my hometown. I visit Jamaica quite regularly (on average 3x/year) and for the past 10 years I’ve stayed at properties in the Emerald Estate community; however, this was my first time at this particular property and it will be my last.
Everything about my stay was excellent. Megan was very accommodating, even gave spots to go in ocho rios. The house was spacious and comfortable, good AC, nice kitchen and living room. I slept like a baby, it was a very good home base for our jamaica trip. The place, stay and host exceeded expectations.
Lovely, lovely view. We were staying in the Ocean view twin room and the views were spectacular.
Comfortable beds, good air-condition, very nice fresh breakfast, good wifi. Very good value for money. Loved the luscious greenery. It is nice be bit away from the busy Ocho Rios yet just a short drive.
I have a medical problem if I have too much salt, your chefs went out of their way to be sure that I
was able to enjoy all of my meals and not have to worry. That made our stay in Ocho Rios so much better.
I would recommend the accommodations and the food to anyone.
The beach was absolutely perfect and the view from the room was stunning! It was right on the beach so you could hear the sea at night which was very relaxing.
The food there was also good, I had a Jamaican breakfast (curry chicken) and their bbq wings are delicious!
We had an awesome time in Tina’s Guest house. When we arrived we felt really welcome!
Annet took good care of us and even learned us how to make a real jamaican breakfast. She‘s the best. She can organize everything and is so lovely. We defenetly wanna come back! :)
Kevin is the kindest, most considerate host. The bathroom and bed are all quite comfortable. Kevin was very helpful, and he went above and beyond to make my stay relaxing and enjoyable. Ocho Rios is fantastic.
This place is superb in every way. The location, the staff, the level of service, the rooms are all top of the line. Jamaica Inn is an institution here, and deservedly so.
Villa Royale is a beautiful place and a very restful way to spend our last couple of days in Jamaica after a hectic trip. The AC was especially welcome!
