Zone is a mountain village over the Iseo Lake.
Zone is a mountain village over the Iseo Lake. It is famous for the pyramids, that are worth a walk and many pictures. It is also a good starting point for hiking and cycling, as well as for visiting the lake and the Camonica Valley which offers a lot of natural, not too crowded places as well as museums, paleolithic and archeological sites and beautiful churches. The village offers few restaurants, but it is mainly a mountain village, quiet. It was one of the accesses to teh Camonica Valey in the ancient times, before the street along the lake was escavated.AndreaItaly

The hotel is in an excellent position for hiking from right outside the door, and is also near the bus stop - very convenient if you're arriving by train or ferry across Lago Iseo. I had a very pleasant stay overall.

The continental breakfast with fresh fruits was perfect. We also enjoyed having dinner in the small-town Zone and buying at the local grocery. It is also an ideal location if you like trekking.

Interesting decor, old typewriters, and sewing machines for example. Lovely staff. The hotel was a very relaxing place to be.
