Loved the property- I think the owner said 15th or 16th century- so quirky, it was beautiful so old but with all the modern conveniences you might need. The restaurant was fab, great food, good service, traditional food, lovely art work through out the building. All round I would totally recommend.

Highly recommend for a stay in Tirano! The property is situated very conveniently near to Tirano train station, where you can reach both Bernina and Milan easily. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, the property was spacious and clean, had a great stay.

We had a great four night stay at this wonderful property with kind, thoughtful and generous hosts. The property is ideally located for exploring the little town of Villa di Tirano and is only minutes walk from two large supermarkets and some great restaurants and a bakery. The house is well equipped with modern and quality appliances, and we particularly valued having a washing machine and a drying rack. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was amazing. Luigi and Franca were exceptional hosts - they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and greatly added to our stay by sharing with us parts of local history (because they knew we were interested). This is an immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable property and we couldn't recommend more highly.

The room was really beautiful with the details to spend a romantic getaway in Tirano. The host Francesco was really attentive and organized everything for us. Definitely would recommend to sleep here before or after a trip with the Bernina express.

In the wellness hotel you must pay 15 euro/person to go in to the 2x5 meter pool and to the sauna which maximum 2 person can fit and the interior probably from IKEA. After 50 minutes of using the pool, we Neva to leave, because they have time restriction in there too. I reserve this hotel because the wellness, but it was a big mistake!

A lovely family run place with an eccentric and liveable patriarch (Franco). The family went out of their way to help us take a bus into Teglio (drove us in their car so we would make the bus on time) and also tried to save us a few euros by trying to work out the best way to take the bus back into Tirano. The food was very good at the restaurant - try the pizzocheri! Would definitely stay here again!
