If you are planning on staying here you need a car.
If you are planning on staying here you need a car. I arrived by taxi with my 2 year old daughter. No restaurant open, no where open within walking distance. The only place reception could recommend was a €30 taxi to McDonalds. There are taxis available from the location but they are limited, be prepared to wait and they are expensive. Hotel itself is nice but in the middle of an industrial estate

We had an amazing time.
We had an amazing time. Whilst staying at Casa Sole there was a carnival with fair ground rides and food which livened up the quiet town till the early hours of the morning. Quiet normally, friendly, great location for the bigger towns/cities and yet far enough to relax. Beautiful river to walk for miles. Church is simply beautiful. Roads are easy and relatively quiet. A few friendly bars and restaurants to eat at/take away from.
